Avi is a facilitator and teacher devoted to the path of ancestral medicines, with a deep and personal connection to Bufo Alvarius. Bufo is the medicine closest to her heart and the one that called her into this work. The relationship she carries with the medicine shapes the way she prepares, serves, and supports every person who comes to sit with it.
Her approach to this work is rooted in integrity, deep respect for the medicines, and a sincere commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the people she serves. Avi believes the relationship a facilitator holds with the medicine is felt by everyone in the space. Because of this, she approaches every ceremony with humility, careful preparation, and a deep sense of responsibility for those who trust her to hold that experience.
Avi trained with a respected teacher who carried decades of experience working with sacred medicines including Bufo, Kambo, Ayahuasca, Huachuma, Mapacho, and other traditional entheogenic practices. His mentorship played a significant role in shaping the foundation of her work and the integrity she brings into every ceremony today. While Avi serves multiple medicines, including Kambo and Ayahuasca, Bufo remains the medicine closest to her heart and the one she feels most deeply connected to. In the Sacred Valley, her work is especially centered around serving Bufo and Kambo.
She also studies within the Shipibo tradition of the Peruvian Amazon, returning regularly to the jungle for master plant dietas and continued apprenticeship with experienced maestros.
Those who sit with Avi often describe her presence as grounding, nurturing, and deeply supportive. She creates a space where people feel safe enough to soften, breathe, and surrender to the experience at their own pace. Healing and letting go can be difficult work, and Avi understands the importance of meeting people with patience, compassion, and even moments of lightness and humor that help ease the nervous system into the process. She never rushes the experience and honors when a person is truly ready to step forward.
Her work is especially dedicated to supporting individuals healing from sexual trauma. Avi holds this space with deep care and sensitivity, helping people reconnect with their bodies, release stored pain, and rediscover a sense of safety and strength within themselves.
Avi is also deeply intentional about who she serves. Every participant goes through a careful screening process to ensure they are physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared to work with the medicine. She believes these experiences are not meant for everyone at every stage of life, and that honoring readiness is part of respecting the medicine itself.
For Avi, this work is about creating a safe space where both participants and students can cross toward healing and deeper understanding. She often describes her role as a bridge between two worlds, guiding people safely from where they are to their own direct relationship with the medicine.
this is a mouthful but we can perfect it lol
